Miami Beach - Tour Bus Hit And Killed Woman Crossing Street
Miami Beach - Tour bus accident leaves woman dead. A female pedestrian was hit by a private tour bus as she crossed the street this morning at the intersection of Collins Avenue and 10th street in South Beach. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the bus accident.
Collins Avenue was blocked to traffic from Ninth to 11th Street while police investigated the crash.
It appeared that the woman had been carrying a green grocery shopping bag and wearing a straw hat. Both were found at the scene. Police said the woman appeared to be in her sixties.
