One of the victims who was taken to Bayfront was listed as being in critical condition in the intensive care unit as of Saturday afternoon. According to Margaret Ballou, administrator on duty at Bayfront, two other victims were listed in good condition, and three others had been discharged.
Lt. Scott Tyler of the Palmetto Police Department said “We are pretty sure the shooting took place outside of the club,” said . “We believe there were at least two shooters and we are aggressively working on some leads.”
Police preserved such evidence as the shell casings, witness statements, and blood trails, and also obtained a surveillance video from the club.
