29-year-old Marquel McCormes was pronounced dead early Saturday morning at Florida Medical Center, about an hour after he was shot. McCormes went to FME Club with a group of friends that evening. He left the club at about 4 a.m. and proceeded to drop off his friends. Sometime after this, McCormes was fatally shot. Detectives continue to investigate, but do not believe the two shootings were related.
